Case Study

TYMLEZ, a NoviqTech brand, provides the transparent and verified insights needed to support organizations in tracking their progress towards ambitious carbon neutral goals.

Mission

To provide organizations with clear records of their carbon emissions to enable global progress towards a net zero future. To achieve this, TYMLEZ leverages Hedera’s digital ledger technology to support the accurate, verified data available on their Carbon Central Platform. Additionally, the Guardian and Hedera Token Service are used to produce tokens that represent verifiable emissions units and guarantee of origin certificates.

Carbon Project Integrity

The Guardian Ecosystem enables ALLCOT to create a standardized project development framework that fosters trust, transparency and compatibility across all project stakeholders. This ensures the creation of high-integrity projects while maximizing benefits for local communities.
The Guardian Ecosystem facilitates the fulfillment of methodology standards, validation body requirements, project developer needs, and community expectations, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and transparency of the project

Value chain transparency

ALLCOT stakeholders benefit from access to accurate and comprehensive information on Hedera Guardian’s public ledger, leveraging a common set of rules and standards, fostering trust and accountability.

Full financial accountability

Transparently demonstrating how project resources are allocated on the public ledger enables ALLCOT’s stakeholders to comprehend the full scope of a project's efforts, flow of funds, and impact.

Equitable revenue distribution

By recording the transaction cost at every stage of a project's progress, resulting carbon credits can be priced to maximize revenue distribution back to the local community.

Accurate and efficient verification

By utilizing Hedera Guardian’s digital ledger, ALLCOT is able to minimize accounting errors, make auditing more open and efficient, and enable a more equitable emergence of verification and validation partners.

Comprehensive monitoring and reporting

The Hedera Guardian Ecosystem establishes a secure chain of data custody, particularly in the case of drone-captured information for origination purposes. This enables ALLCOT to ensure that all project data remains intact, trustworthy and accurately tethered to each project attribute.

Automated reporting compliance

By ensuring that data provided aligns with the necessary frameworks, the Guardian helps meet specific industry needs and standards, while ensuring compliance with multiple reporting requirements.

Future-proof growth

ALLCOT is focused on creating products that surpass the limitations of conventional methods, shifting towards more advanced and efficient approaches to future sustainability markets.

Single source of truth for interoperability

The Guardian serves as a single source of truth, ensuring that policies and rules are standardized and compatible with other sustainability market actors. This enables ALLCOT to align financing through carbon forwards and the structuring of green bonds seamlessly across various entities within the ecosystem

Common language for communicating benefits

The adoption of a common taxonomy within Guardian enables ALLCOT to establish a standardized language for discussing and addressing various sustainability issues. This fosters better communication and alignment for more effective and cohesive climate action.

Forge new growth pathways

By leveraging the flexibility and adaptability of Guardian, ALLCOT has the ability to provide various pathways for different stakeholders as the sustainability market evolves.

Ecosystem impact

The Hedera Guardian Ecosystem operates as a common good, providing services to the entire ecosystem without an extractive fee-based model.

ALLCOT leverages the Hedera Guardian Ecosystem to build on and integrate various services and initiatives already established by other community members. This creates an aligned, streamlined ecosystem of sustainability market actors that avoids duplication to serve the needs of communities, investors, and project developers.

Enabling efficient, equitable environmental markets

Reduce time to market

The Carbon Central platform allows customers to onboard themselves from the earliest stages of project establishment. This allows them to leverage the capabilities of TYMLEZ’s dMRV tokenization technology quickly and easily, reducing delays while their operations enter production.

Accurate, real-time data

Carbon Central interfaces directly with customer operations to pull in a live feed of carbon relevant data from multiple IoT devices and sensors. This eliminates the possibility of data input error and allows for a trusted overview of carbon emissions.

Efficient adherence to standards

Companies need accurate and verifiable data to measure the impact of their decarbonisation efforts and develop strategic plans for reducing their emissions. Data collected is mapped by Carbon Central against real-world policies and standards to provide a proven and trusted overview of carbon intensity. Carbon Central makes use of the open-source Hedera Guardian to create energy and emissions tokens according to relevant policies, standards, and methodologies.

Transparent and open source

Stakeholders throughout the reporting chain, from carbon emitters to auditors and regulators, can leverage the reporting capabilities of TYMLEZ Carbon Central to accurately report on overall emissions. TYMLEZ has released open source carbon policies and continues to develop policies for the community.

Long term vision

Hedera's stable transaction fees and carbon neutral status enable TYMLEZ and Carbon Central to scale alongside rapidly growing environmental markets.

Case study: Carbon Reporting for the Queensland Government

TYMLEZ is working with the Queensland Government on delivering a carbon reporting solution for their operations in the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct.

The project aims to accurately report carbon emissions and offer in-app carbon offsetting capabilities, representing the first project the Government has undertaken that utilises DLT for carbon reporting. This enables the Government to begin implementing carbon reduction strategies based on real world data rather than estimates.

Case study: UON

Australian integrated energy company UON, an industry leader in providing sustainable solutions for the mining industry, has recognised an imperative need to provide their end customers with real-time, carbon footprint data.

UON has partnered with TYMLEZ to calculate CO2 output from its Hybrid Battery Energy Storage System which is used to power its dewatering operations for major mining operators.

The TYMLEZ Platform will verify data from source systems including diesel generators to calculate and report on CO2 emissions which can be utilised by end customers as part of their Scope 2 emissions reporting.

The transparent, immutable data will also be used to provide end customers the ability to claim carbon credits for activities such as displacing diesel and other fossil fuels.

Case study: Magnum Mining and Exploration

Australian mineral exploration company Magnum Mining and Exploration are aiming to become the world's first mass producer of green pig iron, without the use of Carbon Capture or Carbon Offsets.

Magnum has partnered with TYMLEZ to provide real-time carbon intensity monitoring of their USA facility's production chain, allowing them instant operational insight, decision making and reporting.

The real-time, immutable data will provide Magnum with a digital guarantee of origin for each tonne of pig iron produced, allowing them to provide assurance to its customers, and secure  investment and early offtake agreements at a premium.

TYMLEZ are proud to work with Hedera’s ecosystem partners:
