Overview
The Hedera Guardian is a digital operating framework for methodology digitization and integrated Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV). Through standardized forms, automated workflows, and connected data streams, it links projects, auditors, corporates, and standards to build a transparent and verifiable environmental accounting audit record following complex methodologies.
Before this multi-party workflow and rules engine, developers and standards spent over $500,000-$1M+ to digitalize complex, 100+ page environmental methodologies. Using the Hedera Guardian users have built the world’s largest digitized and open source methodology library, which spans carbon credits, biodiversity, renewable energy, and emissions tracking methodologies.
The Guardian allows stakeholders across complex systems in different industries to maintain, enforce, and manage methodology rules across multiple applications using Hedera as the trust layer for communications. Users from various organizations complete workflows, data entry, and software applications to achieve an auditable outcome and determine who attested to which information across a project.
